Jeremy Strong Jeremy Strong is a writer credited with over 100 children's books. He previously worked in a bakery, where his job involved putting jam into doughnuts. He also worked as caretaker, a strawberry-picker and in an office for British Rail, before becoming a junior school teacher. His humorous writing often makes use of his childhood and primary teaching experiences. |
Lucy Strange Lucy Strange is a best-selling author who's books capture elements of classic children’s literature in a style that is engaging and accessible for today’s younger readers. Before becoming a professional writer, Lucy worked as an English teacher for fifteen years. Having also trained and worked as an actor, Lucy narrates her own audiobooks, winning the 2019 Audie Award for The Secret of Nightingale Wood. |
Joseph Coelho Joseph Coelho is an award-winning children's author, performance poet and playwright. His debut poetry collection, Werewolf Club Rules, was the 2015 winner of the CLPE CLiPPA Poetry Award. His work has poetry and performance at its heart, drawing on over 16 years' experience running dynamic creative literacy sessions in schools. He aims to inspire young people through stories and characters they can recognise. |
